Van Wormer Resorts includes Hotel Palmas de Cortez, Hotel Playa Del Sol, Hotel Punta Colorada (CLOSED) and Villas De Cortez. The Van Wormer family has been serving the sportfishing community since 1966 when Robert Van Wormer opened Hotel Punta Colorada. They have been an integral part of the East Cape community ever since. Each hotel has it's own feel from standard courtyard and ocean view cabana style rooms to deluxe ocean view rooms, take your pick. All meals are included at Hotel Playa Del Sol and Hotel Punta Colorada only. Hotel Punta Colorada is currently closed for renovation.
